SERVER4YOU INC, was founded in May 2003, but we've been in the web hosting industry in Europe for more than a decade.  At first, we offered only virtual hosting, but began selling dedicated servers as early as 1997. Where are your datacenters located?

Our co-location provider is Datotel with a state-of-the-art data center located in the Globe Building in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. It's in a district of downtown St. Louis rapidly becoming known as a bandwidth exchange crossroads of the midwest.

What kind of back up power do they provide?

We protect our customer's websites with two redundant uninterruptable power supply systems (UPS) with maintenance bypass and two class-leading dedicated Megawatt Diesel Back-Up Generators with 3,000 gallon fuel tanks.

The infrastructure is designed to sustain an indefinite power outage. DATOTEL also maintains contracts with refueling vendors, in the event that the outage takes longer than 24 hours. All power to the data Center floor is clean power run through the UPS systems. The power grid that feeds the facility is highly reliable, now serving without interruption for nearly five years.

The design includes an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), redundant Transient Voltage Surge Suppressors and Power Distribution Units.
All power infrastructures are monitored closely in the on-site NOC. 24/7.

SERVER4YOU combines big bandwidth with multiple and redundant high-speed connections to the Internet backbone. We monitor our network 24/7 to ensure that your server is always up and running.

What connections do they have?

We have two fully redundant POPs in St. Louis. Both connected by our own 10 GBit fiber metro ring for highest redundancy. High Speed, High Availability Network powered by fully redundant Juniper M20 routers and Extreme Networks switching engines
Direct multiple GBit connections to our leading bandwidth provider: Level3. Both of them have installed diversely routed fiber optic cable that will never terminate any lower than OC-12.
