What we like: To receive the best possible sales assistancee, go with the live chat option on the website.
What needs improvement: Sales and contact methods could be better.

We found the wait when utilizing the phone line excessive and with no sales email we attempted to use the sales submit form to realize it didn't work with Firefox. When tested with IE, it worked although response time was slow.

What we like: We found the following promoted on the Register.com website and wanted to see how accurate it was:
1. Full time dedicated staff
- We contacted support, all methods, all different times of the day and had no problems in reaching a certified support tech.

2. 120 hours of initial training
- While this one is difficult to prove, we did provide support with complex issues during testing that were fully resolved and within a great time frame.

3. 115 hours of coaching and refresher training each year
- Based on the various technicians we worked with, and the complexity of issues we sent their way I would assume this promise is on par.

4. In 2004, 70% of calls were answered in less than 50 seconds...some in 20 seconds!
- We received a mix bag of response times on phone support, although all within minutes we considered this to still be excellent.

5. 20% of our staff are, or have been, small business owners
- Possible, although we were not able to verify this.

6. No hidden fees for answers to your service questions or for help choosing or setting up your services
- Very true, all support that we requested was provided at no additional cost to our hosting plan.

7. A culture of caring and respect...
- Absolutely, the staff at Register.com were friendly, courteous and professional.
What needs improvement: Live chat support for those quick and simple support queries.

What we like: Register.com retooled its web hosting plans to cater specifically to the consumers and in-line with other leading competitors. What we liked about the new solutions at Register.com, you can now shop for a hosting solution directly related to your business needs and demands, rather than a for all plan.

We found this landing page more appealing, easy to navigate and review information based on each of the hosting plans.
What needs improvement: None at this time.
